On Monday the 3rd of April 2006, about 4: 30 pm, members of the Drug Unit, Vieux- Fort, in collaboratioin with officers from the Vieux Fort Police Station, executed a search warrant on the premises of Patricia Bideau of Desruisseaux in the quarter of Micoud. Five hundred grams (500g) of Crack Cocaine and seven (7) foil raps of Cannabis, were recovered, valued at $12,000EC. On Tuesday the 2nd of August 2005, Bernard Paul Jacques Huibant a French national was arrested at the departure lounge in the Hewanorra International Airport. Huibant had in his possession 4 kilograms of cocaine concealed within his black pull-on bag; whilst attempting to board Virgin Atlantic flight to London.
