Arrest At Sandy Beach, Vieux Fort

On Monday the 30th of October 2006, about 7:30pm, personnel
from Drug Squad Vieux Fort conducted an operation at Sandy
Beach, Vieux Fort. During the course of the operation, a Pick
Up van was observed driving to an area of the said beach where
it stopped for a short period.
Fatal Accident - 23/10/06
19 year old construction worker, Jason Nick Charles of Ti
Morne, Union, Castries, died when an excavator rolled over
his body and crushed him on Friday.
Shooting Incident at Micoud
- 23/10/06
About 6:00am on Saturday, the 21st of October 2006, police
officers attached to the Micoud Police Station received information
regarding a passenger being armed with a firearm and in possession
of controlled drugs.
Robbery at Sea Town - 23/10/06
On Monday the 16th of October 2006, about 10:45pm, six (6)
unidentified male individuals entered through the back door
carrying guns and knives inorder to execute a robbery.
Castries Man Charged With Forgery

On Tuesday the 17th of October 2006, 29 – year- old
Jeavon Channing, AKA Aliysious Chandler, appeared at the First
District Court in Castries, to answer seven charges of Forgery.

The young man of Ciceron, Castries, who was arrested for the
death of Jarvel Eddison Charles, has been released pending
an inquest.

attached to the Criminal Investigations Department (C.I.D)
in Castries and a team of officers from the Special Services

the North and South Drug Units, eradicated a total of 20,149
fully grown marijuana plants.

In a joint operation involving customs, Drug Squad and the
Marine Unit, on Thursday the 21st September 2006, thirty kilograms
(30kgs) of compressed marijuana was recovered.

driver was held up at gun point by two mask men.
