Swearing In of British Officers Seven British police officers were sworn into the Royal St. Lucia Police Force at 2:00pm on Wednesday the 1st of November 2006, at the Office of the Commissioner of Police, in the presence of Gazetted officers of the Royal St. Lucia Police Force. The Commissioner of Police in his remarks indicated that this was another stage in the reform process, which started in 1999. He also indicated that it was necessary to seek outside help, since the resources here were limited. He went on to say that the officers have a wealth of experience and this will definitely be a plus for the Royal St. Lucia Police Force in fighting crime. The officers are assigned to the following positions: 1. Peter Davis (Superintendent) - Senior investigating officer in the North 2. Neil Page - Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of Research and Management . 3. Leslie Milner – Superintendent in charge of Intelligence and Management. 4. John Broughton – Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police. 5. Andrew Armstrong – Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of Crime. 6. Paddy Mulligan (Superintendent) - Senior Investigating Officer for the South. 7. Victor Layzell – Superintendent
in charge of Community Policing and Management in the North.
