Oliver Thompson Blalock, a French national and Sheila Alicsa Terry, were charged $54,000 each or three years imprisonment, for the offences of Possession of Controlled drugs and Attempting to Export Controlled Drugs. This incident occurred on Friday the 9th of June 2006,
about 4:30pm when the two were intercepted at Hewanorra International
Airport, whilst attempting to board Virgin Atlantic Flight # 031 to
England, with approximately four kilos of Cocaine concealed in their
hand luggage. They were arrested and taken to the Vieux-Fort Police
station where they were charged for the offences of Possession of Controlled
drugs and Attempting to Export Controlled Drugs. The estimated street
value of the drugs is $80,000 EC.
