St.Lucia recorded its first homicide of a young man who was attacked during an altercation. Dead is 19 year old Lardin Dominic of La Pansee,Castries, who was stabbed in the abdomen on Tuesday the 1st of January 2008, at Indies night club by a known person.
He was taken to the Victoria Hospital Castries but later succumbed to his injuries. One man has been arrested in connection with the incident. A post mortem will soon be performed.
