About 12:30am on Saturday the 2nd of February
2008, two brothers namely: Claude John aka “Ross”
of Barre St. Joseph and Lawrence Rawlins of
the same address were involved in an altercation
at Barre St. Joseph.
As a result of the altercation, Claude John
dealt his brother Lawrence John a few cutlass
lashes on his arm. Lawrence was taken to the
Victoria Hospital but died subsequently.
One man is in custody as a result of this incident.
Investigation is continuing.
