Police Enquires continue into the death of LAURENT MOYNATION age, 41 years. Mr. Laurent Moynaton who had dual St. Lucia and French nationality, was the chef at the Coal Pot Restaurant at Vigie, Castries.

The police investigation is currently centered on the identification of potential witnesses to the fatal shooting. Mr. Moynaton’s vehicle was stolen from the scene of the homicide. It was recovered on Tuesday the 5th of December 2006, at Bexon, Castries.

An officer has been assigned to the family to ensure they are kept up to date with the progress of the enquiry. Later today, the Senior Detective leading the investigation will be meeting with the family. The police are working closely with the local business community and police resource will be deployed in the Point Seraphine area.
