Homicide

20 – year old Jarvel Eddison Charles, AKA “ Murphy” of Ciceron, Castries, is the island’s latest victim of a homicide. He was allegedly stabbed in the chest area during an altercation on Saturday the 7th of October 2006, at Ciceron, about 12:30am by a known assailant.

Charles was later taken to the Victoria Hospital in Castries, where he was pronounced dead.

About 2:00am that same morning, one man reported himself to the Central Police Station with reference to the homicide, indicating that he was the one who stabbed Charles in the chest area. He was arrested and detained at the Station under investigation for Murder.

Investigation is continuing in the matter.
