Recreational Park Renovated By Soufriere Police - 09/10/06

Police officers from the Soufriere and Choiseul police stations, have just completed a month of activities which they said was quite exciting and productive.
On the morning of 23rd September 2006, at approximately 7.00am, the Soufriere and Choiseul police stations, in collaboration with the Soufriere Lion’s Club, undertook a massive renovation project of the Fond Benier Recreational Park which is located at Fond Benier, Soufriere.

Financial and other assistance were provided from a number of corporate persons within the Soufriere community, without whose help; this would not have been possible. This is work in progress and there is still a great deal to be accomplished.

The Soufriere and Choiseul police also engaged in other activities such as lectures, a church parade and other social activities during the month of September.

Special thanks and recognition is extended to all those from the Soufriere & Choiseul communities who supported and assisted in the above projects and helped make them a reality.
