Search Warrant Executed - 29/06/06

On Friday the 16th of June 2006, officers from the Special Services Unit (S.S.U), executed a Search Warrant on the premises of Junior Jakes of Pavee Road, Castries. Junior Jakes ran away from the house and was not caught by the police; however, the police recovered a number of musical instruments and other household equipment.

During that search, Anthony Francois AKA Daylan James of La Clery, Castries, who was an occupant of the house, was arrested and charged for the offence of Burglary.

Anthony Francois AKA Daylan James was also identified and subsequently charged by the Marigot police for the murder of Alvin Francis AKA “Highly” of Marigot. The incident occurred on the 21st of May 2006, about 12:36am at Marigot.

Persons who have made reports of stolen property as a result of Burglary or Housebreaking, are encouraged to make contact with the investigators of their reports, in order to identify the equipment recovered.
