| Attempted Murder - 10/04/06
A 28 year old man of Rock Hall, Castries, has been arrested for
attempting to slash Archbishop Kelvin Felix’s throat last
evening, Wednesday 12th April 2006, after a church service at
the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Castries. The Archbishop
was speaking to a gentleman on Peynier Street, Castries, when
he felt someone grab him around his neck area from the back. He
then felt a sawing motion on his throat, at which point he pushed
the person away. The individual then quickly ran away from the
scene.
The Archbishop escaped unhurt, however his Roman Collar was cut
at the area which was resting on his throat.
