About 3:55pm on Saturday the 13th of September 2008, a traffic accident which resulted in the death of a young man, occurred along the Mongiraud, Gros Islet Road, involving motor truck registration number: TE 3946 driven by Romulus Dalson.
There were four occupants on the truck including the driver. Two of these occupants were in the box of the truck. Mc Millan Stephen, age 34 of Ciceron was one of the passengers in the box of the truck. He died as a result of injuries sustained when the truck ran off the road.
The other three occupants including the driver also sustained injuries. They were taken to the Victoria Hospital for treatment and were later discharged.
Investigation is continuing.
