On Tuesday the 14th of February 2006, about 2:40pm, Collins David Francis, age 43, of England, was arrested at the Hewanorra International Airport while attempting to board a Virgin Atlantic Flight to England.

He had in his possession, a bag containing 7.8 kilos of Cocaine, which he retrieved from the ceiling of the washroom for handicap persons. The drugs were estimated at a value of $200,000EC.

He was charged with Possession of Controlled Drugs and Attempt to Export Controlled Drugs.

Drugs Update:
On Thursday 16th February 2006, British national Collins David Francis was taken to court at Bordelais and was fined the sum of $70,000 to be paid forthwith or two years imprisonment for the offences of possession of Controlled Drugs and Attempt to export controlled drugs.
