On Tuesday the 14th of February 2006, about 2:40pm, Collins David
Francis, age 43, of England, was arrested at the Hewanorra International
Airport while attempting to board a Virgin Atlantic Flight to
England.
He had in his possession, a bag containing 7.8 kilos of Cocaine,
which he retrieved from the ceiling of the washroom for handicap
persons. The drugs were estimated at a value of $200,000EC.
He was charged with Possession of Controlled Drugs and Attempt
to Export Controlled Drugs.
Drugs Update:
On Thursday 16th February 2006, British national Collins David
Francis was taken to court at Bordelais and was fined the sum
of $70,000 to be paid forthwith or two years imprisonment for
the offences of possession of Controlled Drugs and Attempt to
export controlled drugs.
This incident occurred on Tuesday the 14th of February 2006,
