Robbery

Tyson Bernard residing in Gros Islet, was robbed of the sum of $150,000US on Tuesday the 14th of November 2006. Bernard indicated that he had the bag with the money on the back seat of his car. While driving from Vieux Fort to Pierrot, he gave two men known by features, a ride. When he stopped for them to disembark the vehicle, one of the guys grabbed the bag with the money on the seat. Bernard tried to retrieve the bag but was shot three times in the leg. The men fled the scene thereafter.

Police arrived on the scene within a few minutes and combed the entire area but did not find the men. Investigation into this matter continues.
