On Saturday, 16th of February 2008 about 1:20am, Eli Augustin of Babonneau, quarter of Castries, was shot in the abdomen by two masked men who knocked down his door.
He was subsequently taken to the Victoria Hospital, Castries, where he has since undergone surgery. He is currently in a stable condition. Investigation is still continuing in the matter
