Community Relations Branch - Positive Impact

The Community Relations Branch along with the Drug Abuse Resistance Education program is having a Graduation Ceremony on Sunday the 21st of May 2006. This is the third annual D.A.R.E Graduation, where over 100 students who participated in the program from the Choiseul Secondary School will be graduating. The Ceremony will be held at the Choiseul Secondary School at 2:00pm. The D.A.R.E program is currently being undertaken in the Districts of Vieux-Fort, Soufriere and Choiseul for the southern part of the island. In the northern part of the island the program is being undertaken at the R.C Boys School. The program consists of a 17 week session for one hour per week about effective ways in resisting drug abuse and motivational techniques for dealing with these issues. The D.A.R.E program has made positive impact on the youth of the different communities and schools since its inception.
