19 year old Luvina Charles of La Pointe, Dennery has been arrested and charged for the murder of her live- in boyfriend, 27 year old Shawn Alfred Jn. Louis of the same address.
This incident occurred on Monday the 29th October 2008, about 3:00am. It is alleged that the couple got involved in an argument during which Luvina Charles stabbed her boyfriend Shawn Alfred Jn Louis in the left area of his neck.
A post mortem examination was performed on the body of Shawn Jn Louis and the result indicated that he died from haemorrhagic shock, secondary to a stab wound.
Luivna Charles will be taken to court today, Wednesday 1st October 2008.
