Stealing From Motor Vehicles Update

Four persons have been arrested in connection with a series of Stealing from Motor Vehicle in the Choiseul area between 6:00pm on Friday 19th September 2008 and 6:30am on Saturday 20th September 2008. During that time a total of 8 reports of Stealing from Motor Vehicle were made ranging from La Fague, Debrell and Reblot.
The four youngsters were arrested and charged on Wednesday 1st October 2008. They are:
- Mark Modest, age 15 of Riverside Road, Choiseul
- Richie Venor, age 18 of Riverside Road, Choiseul
- Stephen Venor, age 17 of Laborie
- Darrel Cenac, age 18 of La Fague, Choiseul
They were taken to court on the 1st of October. Darrel Cenac pleaded guilty to the charge of stealing from motor vehicle and was ordered to pay the sum of $2445 EC cash in compensation. He was also bonded to keep the peace for 2 years in default he must pay the sum of $2500 or 6 months imprisonment.
Mark Modest was remanded at the Boys Training Centre. The other two were bailed to attend court on the 30th of October 2008.
