Choiseul Men Caught at Sea

The Marine Unit of The Royal St.Lucia Police Force intercepted a vessel while on patrol, about one nautical mile off the village of Choiseul, on Thursday the 8th of January 2009, about 6:10pm.
There were four occupants on board the vessel named, “So Help Me God”. They include: Ray Joseph, 22 years of La Fargue, Choiseul, Linus Herman, 26 years of Debrieul, Choiseul, Petterson Joseph, 38 years of Choiseul and Gillan Charles, 28 years of Choiseul.
A quantity of 72.6 lbs of Cannabis was recovered from the vessel and the men were consequently arrested. They were handed over to the Drug Unit, Castries and are expected to be charged shortly.
