Son of Doctor Charged for Murder

On Monday the 19th of January 2009, Andrew Kagan Richardson, 31 years of Bonneterre, quarter of Gros-Islet, was charged for the murder of Dr.Trona Bennett of Trouya, quarter of Gros-Islet.
Dr.Bennett, a gynaecologist at Tapion Hospital was found dead at her home in Trouya on Tuesday the 13th of January 2009, about 12:30pm. It is alleged that she was struck in the head with a blunt object and may have also been strangled. A Post Mortem performed subsequently, indicated that she died from Asphyxia, Secondary to Strangulation.
The accused, Andrew Kagan Richardson is expected to make an appearance in court on Tuesday the 20th of January, 2009. |
