Police Probe into Stabbing of Canaries Woman

Police have charged Ava Alexander, 19 years of Ciceron, Castries and another 13-year-old female also of Ciceron, for the murder of Kevana Antonia King, 20 years of Ciceron.
They appeared in court on Wednesday the 17th of June, 2009 where they were remanded in custody until the 25th of June, 2009.
Kevana King was stabbed several times at a bar in Ciceron about 2:00am on Saturday the 13th of June, 2009 after she was attacked by a group of young women. She was later pronounced dead at the Victoria Hospital.
Police are continuing their investigation into the matter. |
