Castries Youth Charged for Double Murder

Police have since charged Simon Lubin, 19 years of Mary Ann Street, Castries, for the Murder of Kelvin Francis, 17 years of Rock-Hall, Castries and Taddy Phillip also 17 years of Trois-Piton, Castries.
He appeared in court in Castries on Wednesday the 17th of June, 2009 where he was remanded at the Boredelais Correctional Facility until the 25th of June, 2009 when he reappears in court.
This incident occurred about 1:30pm on Thursday the 11th of June, 2009 at the intersection of Lastic-Hill and Leslie Land Road, Castries, where both Kelvin Francis and Taddy Phillip were shot several times in the head area. They were pronounced dead at the Victoria Hospital, Castries.
In the meantime, police have issued a Warrant of Arrest in the First Instance for the arrest of Alleyn James alias “Young and Old” of River Side Road/ Grass Street, Castries, also for the murder of Kelvin Francis and Taddy Phillip.
