Shooting on Darling Road, Castries

Police are currently investigating a shooting incident, which occurred about 12:45am on Monday the 20th of July, 2009, on Darling Road, Castries. According to a report, Linus Castang, of Bagatelle, Castries, was walking along Darling Road, at the aforesaid time and date, when five masked men walked up to him and robbed him of his gold chain and his waist pouch containing an undisclosed sum of money. Before leaving the scene, one of the masked men shot him in his left arm.
He was subsequently taken to the Victoria Hospital, where he was treated and discharged. Police are continuing their investigation. |
