Funeral service arrangements for Acting Sergeant Hugh St. Ange

The funeral service for the late Acting Sergeant Hugh Spencer St. Ange, age 47, from Choiseul and was stationed at the Vieux Fort Police Station, will take place Friday the 21st of August 2009 at the Choiseul Catholic Church at 2:30pm.
His body will be exposed from 8:00am to 9:30am at the Police Auditorium, Bridge Street, Castries, followed by a Military Parade which will begin at 9:45am from Bridge Street to the inner relief road (near customs). The parade will fall out from there and head down to Vieux Fort.
The Parade will fall back in near the Vieux Fort Town Hall and march to the front of the Vieux Fort Police Station, where a minute of silence will be observed. The parade will then move on to the Vieux Fort Library area and fallout from there.
The Parade will then pass through the village of Laborie and move on to Choiseul. At Choiseul the parade will fall in at the La Fague Playing Field at 12:30pm. They will march down to the Choiseul Catholic Church where the funeral service will commence at 2:30pm.
The parade will move from the church to the Choiseul cemetery for the burial.
The Royal St. Lucia Police Force solicits the cooperation of motorists and the general public during the parade. |
