Police officers from the Drug Unit intercepted vehicle registration number TX685 in Richfond, Dennery about 1:15am on Friday the 18th of September 2009. Four persons were onboard that vehicle namely:
Theophilus Moore AKA “Ra-T, age 49 of Bexon, Castries, a mason by profession.
Aloysious Marshall AKA “Luke”, age 42, of Grande Riviere, Dennery, a taxi driver by profession. He was also the owner and driver of the vehicle.
Egardo Boado Rodriguez, age 31, from Caracas, Venezuela, a fisherman by profession.
Eulices Marino Luna, age 32, from Caracas, Venezuela, a fisherman by profession.
Police searched the vehicle and a quantity of 25 kilos of cocaine was found in the vehicle. The cocaine has a street value of $625,000EC. The men were all arrested and charged for the offences of Possession of drugs and possession with intent to supply.
However, the two Venezuelan nationals were also charged for illegal entry into St. Lucia.
