Tourists Robbed at Anse-La-Raye Waterfall
Anse-La-Raye police are currently investigating a robbery which occurred at the River Rock Waterfall in Anse-La-Raye, about 11:00am on Wednesday the 9th of December, 2009.
It was reported that at the aforesaid time and date, fourteen (14) tourists who had gone to the waterfall, were in the process of boarding a Safari Jeep, in preparation to return to Castries, when four masked men who were reportedly armed with firearms and cutlasses, approached them.
The tourists were allegedly robbed of their jewelry and cash but no one got hurt.
