Special Police Constable Shot by Masked Men
Special Police Constable (S.P.C.) Lucun Lesmond, of Marchand, Castries, was on his way to work about 9:25pm on Sunday the 10th of January 2010, when he was shot multiple times in his left leg by three masked men, near the Cadasse bakery in Marchand.
Reports also indicate that a 60 year old man, Allan Emmanuel of Rock Hall, Castries, who was in the area at the time, got shot in the leg area during the incident.
S.P.C. Lesmond is presently at the Victoria Hospital in a stable condition. No one has been arrested in connection with this incident. However, investigation is continuing. |
