Bois-Patat Shooting, Two Injured
Police are currently investigating a shooting which occurred about 10:30pm, on Wednesday the 3rd of March, 2010, at Bois-Patat, Morne-Du-Don, Castries.
Reports indicate that Kurt Fontenelle of Bois-Patat was in an area near his house, when four masked men approached him and shot him in the abdomen and right arm. It was also reported that his mother who ventured outside during the shooting, was shot in the leg. She was thereafter taken to the Victoria Hospital where she was treated and discharged. Kurt Fontenelle is currently admitted at the Victoria Hospital.
Later on that same day, officers attached to the Special Services Unit (S.S.U.), patrolled the Bois-Patat area where a Double-Barrelled Shotgun was found. No one has been arrested in connection with those incidents.
