Woman Dies in Traffic Accident

On Saturday the 3rd of July, 2010, officers attached to the Traffic Department of the Royal St.Lucia Police Force, responded to the scene of an accident along the Bexon/Cul-De-Sac Highway, which involved motor car registration number: PG 3328, driven by Gregory Eudovic of Millet, quarter of Anse-La-Raye.
According to reports, the motor car was travelling along the aforesaid highway, near the Ideal Bakery, when it ran off the road and crashed into a utility pole. There were two other occupants on board the vehicle and they are: Claudia Antoine, 44 years old of Belaire, quarter of Anse-La-Raye and Esther Soumond, 54 years old of Millet, quarter of Anse-La-Raye. They both were taken to the Victoria Hospital where Claudia Antoine was pronounced dead and Esther Soumond was admitted. The driver of the vehicle escaped unhurt. |
