Anse-La-Raye Youth Caught with Drugs and Firearm

On Monday the 12th of July, 2010, the Task Force of the Royal St.Lucia Police Force, executed a search warrant on the premises of 17-year-old, Nicholas Jean a.k.a “Nicole” of Mon Cisseaux quarter of Anse-La-Raye, where a semi-automatic 12-gauge shotgun along with two (2) rounds of ammunition, 2pounds (2lbs) of dried cannabis and two hundred and twenty-eight (228) plants of marijuana were found.
He was arrested and subsequently charged for the offences of possession of firearm, possession of ammunition and possession of controlled drugs.
On Tuesday the 13th of July, 2010, he appeared in court where he was remanded at the Boredelais Correctional Facility until the 21st of July, 2010 when he reappears in court. |
