Black Mallet Man Died from Brain Injuries

Police are continuing their investigation into the death of 56-year-old, Francis Cenac, a.k.a “Ranking” of Black Mallet, Castries, who succumbed to his injuries after he was shot about 5:30am, on Saturday the 22nd of May, 2010, at Black Mallet.
He was previously admitted at the Victoria Hospital but died at his home a few days after he was discharged. A post mortem later revealed death by pneumonia brain and spinal injuries, secondary to gunshot wound. Francis Cenac was one of four persons shot on that day including two others who also succumbed to their injuries, a female, Simone Smith,44 years old, originally of Saltibus but resided at Black Mallet and 49-year-old, Vernon Gillard of Marchand, Castries. |
