Homicide Update

The young man of Ciceron, Castries, who was arrested for the death of Jarvel Eddison Charles, AKA “Murphy”, of Ciceron, has been released pending an inquest.

20 – year old Jarvel Eddison Charles was allegedly stabbed in the chest area during an altercation on Saturday the 7th of October 2006, at Ciceron, about 12:30am.

Jarvel was later taken to the Victoria Hospital in Castries, where he was pronounced dead.

About 2:00am that same morning, one man reported himself to the Central Police Station with reference to the homicide, indicating that he was the one who stabbed Jarvel in the chest area.

Investigation is continuing in the matter.
