Bois-D’Orange Youth Caught with Firearm

On Friday the 13th of January, 2012, Gros-Islet police conducted an operation at Gros-Islet, where 22-year-old Ike Collin Ephraim of Bois-D’orange, Gros-Islet, was found in possession of a .380 firearm along with fourteen (14) rounds of ammunition.
Ephraim was thereafter charged for the possession of firearm and possession of ammunition. He appeared in court on Monday the 16th of January, 2012 where bail was granted in the sum of $10,000EC, cash or suitable surety in relation to the charge of possession of firearm and with reference to the charge of possession of ammunition, he was granted bail in the sum of $7000EC.
He was ordered to surrender his travelling documents and report to the Rodney-Bay Police Station every Tuesday and Thursday between 6:00am and 6:00pm. The case was adjourned to the 8th of February, 2012. |
