Operation exercises at Soufriere

On Saturday 8 December 2012, Officers attached to the Soufriere Police station whilst acting on information, carried out a search in an open area at Palmiste, Soufriere.
During that search the Officers recovered a 9mm pistol.
No one was arrested in relation to this incident.
On Sunday 9 December 2012, the Officers conducted an eradication exercise at Fond St. Jacques, Soufriere.
A total of Sixteen Thousand (16,000) fully grown Marijuana plants were destroyed.
No one was arrested in relation to this incident.
