| Homicide - 23/02/06
A shooting incident at Black Mallet, Castries, about 10:00pm on
Tuesday the 21st of February 2006, left 30 year-old, Olson Romulas
of Rock Hall, dead. He was shot in the head area by an unknown
person.
No one has been arrested, however, investigation is continuing.
Meanwhile, Police responded to a House Breaking incident in progress
at Ciceron, Castries, on Tuesday the 21st of February 2006. Upon
arrival of the Police, the occupants of the house indicated that
a young man had entered the premises, armed with a shot gun and
demanded their valuables, which included cell phones, jewellery
and cash.
Police went in search of the young man whom they met with and
identified him as Hanson James of Ciceron. A search of his person
was conducted and a 12 guage shot gun, jewellery, cash and cell
phones were retrieved. He was shot in the process of his apprehension.
He is presently in stable condition at the Victoria Hospital,
Castries. Hanson is also the suspect in several buglaries and
robberies in the Coubaril area.
