On Sunday the 23rd March 2008, about 8:15pm, 17 year old, Shem Cherry of Assou Canal, Corinth and 18 year old, Christian Jean of the same address were walking home when an unknown person in a jeep drove past them and shot at them.
Shem Cherry was shot in the abdomen and thigh and Christian Jean was shot in the right leg. They are both in stable condition at the Victoria Hospital.
Investigations are continuing.
