On Saturday the 23rd of August 2008, about 12:30pm, on Clarke Street, Vieux Fort, Michael Lubin, Justice of the Peace of Cedar Heights, Vieux Fort was shot in the back by an unknown person. The bullet exited from the right side of his chest.
He suffered a punctured lung. He was taken to the St. Jude’s Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
Investigation is still continuing in the matter.
