Cpl. 429 Pertius Jopseph, attached to the Immigration Department of the Royal St. Lucia Police Force, passed away on 15th June, 2008 and was laid to rest on 27th June, 2008
27 year old Police Constable 5 Lester Remy, attached to the Major Crime Unit of the Criminal Investigations Department, lost his life on Sunday 27th April 2008 in Coubaril, Castries, during an attempt in apprehending an individual, suspected to be involved in major criminal offences. Remy is originally from the community of Choiseul but he resided at La Clery, Castries.
Police Constable number 284 Sylvanus Lesmond, age 29, of Church Street, Dennery, has been a member of the Royal St. Lucia Police Force for the past nine and a half years. He was attached to the Traffic Department in Castries for the past four years.
